Abstract
A novel complex containing a (mu-bicarbonato)-bis(mu-hydroxo)dicobalt(II) c ation and a (mu-cyano)dichromium(III) anion has been obtained and character ized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The cations have a confacial bioc tahedral structure and the anion contains an octahedral Cr(CN)(6)(3-) unit bridging to the second Cr which has trigomal planar geometry.
