etween the use of anabolic androgenic steroids and tumors, this relationshi
p had not been studied in depth until a few years ago.(1) Recently, we had
the opportunity to observe the onset of a large symptomatic renal neoplasm
with small multiple metastasis in both lungs of an adult male bodybuilder w
ho had been taking anabolic androgenic steroids for 15 years. This case con
firms the importance of the association between the use of hormones and the
development of neoplasms.
