H. Brunckova et al., Sulphide-nitride inhibition variant with AlN, MnS precipitates and Cu co-precipitates with MnS in Fe-3%Si steels, KOVOVE MAT, 37(5), 1999, pp. 331-348
The paper deals with the sulphide-nitride inhibition variant of Fe-3%Si (Al
N, MnS particles) combined by Cu co-precipitation with MnS. These secondary
microphases precipitates- were obtained by electrochemical and chemical is
olation methods. Using the chemical and EDX analysis method to the samples
of orientated electrochemical steel of different types, the changes of AlN
and MnS precipitates in the state after hot rolling, decarburization, and i
n the final state was found. Cu addition to MnS influences the particle for
mation with various chemical composition of epsilon-CU in combination with
Cu2S, or with Cu2-xMnxS complex. If Cu < 0.1 % is present in orientated ele
ctrotechnical steel, the both epsilon-Cu particles and Si3N4 precipitates a
re precipitated and if Cu > 0.1 %, the spherical epsilon-CU particles and e
llipsoidal Cu2S particles or co-precipitates of Cu and MnS are precipitated
to the detriment of Si3N4.
