Abstract
In this paper, a modelling Wiener like structure is proposed where the line ar dynamic part consists of Laguerre filters and the static nonlinearity is represented by High Level (HL) Canonical Piecewise Linear (CPWL) functions . It is shown that the proposed structure call be used to uniformly approxi mate ally system described by the Wiener model (with infinite terms), using a finite number of Laguerre filters and a HL CPWL function whose parameter s call be determined straightforwardly.
