Abstract
Gold can be dissolved at room temperature (25 degrees C) in aqueous I- 2/I- or I-2/SCN- system and these systems have also been used to disso lve silver and copper without the need of any acid or severe chemical condition whatsoever. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
