Abstract
Reaction of copper(II) acetate with tren [tris(2-aminoethyl)amine] and K-2[ Pt(CN)(4)] produced a novel trinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu-3(tren)(4)] [Pt(CN)(4)](3) . 2H(2)O; the cation consists of three Cu(tren)(2+) units co nnected by an additional tren ligand.
