Abstract
[GRAPHICS] The synthesis and use of two novel high-loading Horner-Emmons ring-opening metathesis polymers are described, alpha,beta-Unsaturated ethyl esters (E:Z > 99:1) and alpha,beta-unsaturated nitriles (E:Z > 70:30) are obtained in excellent yields and purities from aldehydes with minimal purification.
