Abstract
A simple one pot synthetic method of a series of 4,5-alkylenedichalcogeno-s ubstituted 1,3-diselenole-2-selones by successive treatments of trimethylsi lylacetylene with butyllithium, selenium, carbon diselenide, and finally al pha,omega-bis(chalcogenocyanato)alkanes is described.
