Abstract
The reaction of 1, 1'-fc(BMe2)(2) (2) with pyrazine gives a novel poly(ferr ocene) [2.pyz](n), which has been. structurally characterized by X-ray crys tallography [fc = (C5H4)(2)Fe; pyz = pyrazine]. The unusual dark green. col or of the solid material is indicative of charge-transfer interactions betw een the iron centers and the electron-poor pyrazine adduct bridges.
