Abstract
The reliability, validity and structure of the 30 item Adolescent Decision Making Questionnaire were investigated in a sample consisting of 1642 Dutch adolescents. The original structure of five subscales was not found to be sufficient in our data. Therefore a revised ADMQ was proposed, with four su bscales and 22 items. A cross validation study proved that this revised ADM Q was improved for its structure and reliability. Also, the revised ADMQ pr oved to be a convergent and discriminative valid instrument indicated by as sociations with peer group pressure and differences for sex and school leve l.
