Abstract
We describe the application of trimethyltin hydroxide to the solid phase cl eavage of the benzyl ester linkage between amino acids/dipeptides and resin s. Butylstannonic acid is used as catalyst for transesterification of vario us carboxylic esters. This method is also applicable to acetylation/deacety lation of alcohols.
