Abstract
The hyperfine constants for the ground states of Be+ and F6+, and for the t wo lowest excited states of Be+ are calculated in a multiconfiguration Dira c-Fock model. Convergence of the calculated magnetic dipole constants is st udied as the active set of orbitals is systematically increased. The final results are compared with experimental data and theoretical values obtained from other methods. [S1050-2947(99)03910-4].
