Abstract
A new trigonotarbid find (Arachnida: Trigonotarbida) is reponed from the Ch islet Colliery Tip, Hersden (Upper Carboniferous: Westphalian B/C). This is the first record of a trigonotarbid from this coalfield. The specimen cons ists of a small, well preserved carapace which is referred to Aphantomartus sp. and probably represents a juvenile.
