Abstract
Materials used, white-water conditions encountered, and corrosion problems reported in high-yield pulping processes were all investigated. Materials a udits were conducted in four Canadian mechanical pulp mills. In conjunction with these audits, white-water samples were taken for analysis from three of the mills. Materials specifications and information on typical white-wat er conditions were also collected from other sources.
