Abstract
Quantitative structure-migration relationship (QSMR) analyses for neut ral compounds were carried out in micellar electrokinetic chromatograp hy (MEKC) with sodium dodecyl sulfate solution. Linear log-log relatio nships were found between both the micelle-water partition coefficient (log P-mc) and the capacity factor and the octanol-water partition co efficient (log P-oct). The quantitative relationship between log P-mc for neutral compounds and the solvatochromic parameters is described. The relationships developed from this work were used to predict micell e-water partition coefficients in MEKC.
