Abstract
We describe our recent experience of right ventricular perforation leading to cardiac tamponade associated with a complex coronary angioplasty in whic h abciximab and a temporary pacing wire were used. This is to highlight the possibility that the combined use of temporary pacing wires and the IIb/II Ia receptor antagonists may be associated with an increased risk of this se rious complication.
