Abstract
The catalytic performance of mesoporous chromium containing MCM-41 molecula r sieves was investigated for the oxidation of phenols. The substrate conve rsion and the product selectivity are remarkably enhanced by ammonium aceta te, acetylacetonate treatments of this unique catalyst. In particular, phen ol shows excellent results compare to the TS-1 catalyst.
