T. Hirotsu et al., Fractionation of boron isotopes to bis(2-hydroxyalkyl)amine berate and boric acid in aqueous solutions, CHEM LETT, (11), 1999, pp. 1153-1154
B-10 is more fractionated to B(OH)L {H2L: a ligand having a bis(2-hydroxyal
kyl)amino group (alkyl: ethyl and propyl)} with a tetrahedral coordination
mode than to B(OH), with a planar triangular coordination mode in aqueous s
olutions, exhibiting an isotope separation factor of 1.027 at 25 degrees C,
which is greater than the upper limit of anion exchangers.
