Travel medicine

This review covers significant recent developments in the field of travel m edicine. New Vaccines related to travel are discussed: cholera, Lyme diseas e, and rotavirus. Pertinent travel vaccine-related issues with varicella, p olio, meningitis, Japanese encephalitis, and tick-borne encephalitis are de scribed. New developments in malaria prophylaxis, diagnosis and treatment a re discussed.
