Microstructure and compositional assignments of acrylamide/vinylidene chloride copolymers using one and two dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
As. Brar et al., Microstructure and compositional assignments of acrylamide/vinylidene chloride copolymers using one and two dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, EUR POLYM J, 36(1), 2000, pp. 69-82
Copolymers containing acrylamide (A) and vinylidene chloride (V) units of d
ifferent composition were synthesized by free radical solution polymerizati
on. The reactivity ratios were estimated by Kelen Tudos and nonlinear error
in variable methods. The triad sequence distribution in terms of A- and V-
centered triads have been obtained from C-13{H-1} nuclear magnetic resonanc
e spectroscopy. The complete spectral assignment in terms of compositional
sequences of the overlapping carbon and proton spectra of these copolymers
were done with the help of Distortionless Enhancement by Polarization Trans
fer, two-dimensional proton detected heteronuclear correlation (inverse-HET
COR) and Total Correlated Spectroscopy experiments. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scien
