A field study was conducted for 3 consecutive years (1995-98) to determine
the effect of: different micro-nutrients with and without farmyard manure o
n yield and yield attributes of soybean [Glycine maw (L.) Merr.]. The resul
ts showed that the application of farmyard manure @ 10 tonnes/ha alone is s
ufficent to compensate the requirements of different micro-nutrients (Zn, B
, and Mo) rather than going for individual applications of micro-nutrients
or along with farmyard manure. The treatment was adjudged stable and sustai
nale for production of soybean. The application of micro-nutrients with far
myard manure were relatively gave more stable yield performance than the tr
eatment without farmyard maure.
