Abstract
The authors discuss the implementation of a computationally efficient two stage echo cancellation system for high speed data transmission. I n addition to a substantial reduction in hardware complexity, the two stage echo canceller offers the advantage of a speedier convergence co mpared to the conventional FIR filter.
