Abstract
The problem of time delay estimation in spatially correlated Gaussian noises is addressed. New normal equations based upon higher order stat istics of the sensor measurements are established, from which a new ad aptive algorithm for time delay estimation is proposed. Simulation exa mples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of this algorithm.
