Abstract
A fully integrated SC second-order lowpass filter has been built with a 0.5dB passband ripple, a programmable cutoff frequency in the range 1-100Hz, and a dynamic range of 88.4dB. A decimation filter (DEF) is u sed to alleviate the requirements imposed on the continous-time anti-a liasing filter (AAF). The bandwidth variation is achieved by means of a configurable combination of capacitors and a suitable control logic circuit.
