Abstract
The temperature dependence of magnetization and electrical resistivity of f erromagnetic Pd is investigated using NiO/Pd multilayers. The temperature d ependence of the magnetization M(T) shows there is a fairly large region of T-2 dependence below the Curie temperature Te and M(T) proportional to (T- C(4/3) - T-4/3)(1/2) near T-C. The resistivity is proportional to T-5/3 ove r a wide temperature range after T-2 dependence. These temperature dependen ces are well explained by spin fluctuation theory and it is experimentally supported that Pd in NiO/Pd multilayers is a weak itinerant ferromagnet.
