Abstract
The expression of eight murine Frizzled (1,3-9) genes was studied during mo
use somitogenesis, in order to correlate the Wnt-dependent activation of my
ogenesis with the expression of specific Frizzled putative receptors. Frizz
led 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9 have specific expression in the forming and differ
entiating somites. The genes analyzed have a complex and partly overlapping
pattern of expression in other regions of the embryo. (C) 1999 Elsevier Sc
