Abstract
A derivative expansion technique is developed to compute functional determi nants of quadratic operators, nondiagonal in spacetime indices. These kinds of operators arise in general 't Hooft gauge fixed Lagrangians. Elaborate applications of the developed derivative expansion are presented. [S0556-28 21(99)03318-4].
