Abstract
A conceptual model is developed for the design of portable magnetic instrum ents in which the magnetizing element consists of permanent magnets incorpo rated into the magnetic circuit of the transducer. The readings of experime ntal models of these instruments were found to be proportional to the coerc ivity of the product being tested.
