Abstract
Low hysteresis, giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sputtered Co/Cu multilayers w ere employed in a 2 x 4 array of sensing elements. Patterning was performed by optical lithography, using the Lift-off technique. To assess the applic ability of this sensor, magnetic field mapping of a ring-magnet was perform ed with a computer controlled scanning system and the results were compared with those obtained from a Hall-sensor.
