An advanced and repeatable experimental arrangement, using the fast discret
e wavelet transform and the lifting scheme for computational signal de-nois
ing, is presented in this paper concerning applications for magnetic materi
al characterization, with examples related to computational techniques for
B-H loop tracing. The advantages of this method are also illustrated with r
espect to the classic methods of magnetic measurements and especially B-H l
