Abstract
As a fundamental approach to the electrocatalytic dimerization of meth ane in a proton-conducting solid electrolyte cell, the electrokinetics for the Ag\SCY\Ag cell, where SCY is ytterbia-doped strontia-ceria, w as examined at 600-700-degrees-C for 100% H-2. Exchange currents, limi ting currents, and their dependence on temperature were measured.
