Abstract
Organic luminophores were found to be capable of effective adsorption withi n the PETF crazes. Examination of the luminescence and absorption spectra s howed that adsorbate provides a main contribution to both absorption and lu minescence of the crazed sample even when the adsorbed layer in crazes is f ar from saturation. Fluorescence intensity was shown to increase with incre asing the tensile strain of the samples in the presence of a liquid medium and to correlate with an increase in the specific inner surface of the craz ed polymer. In this case, the experimental time is rather short (minutes) s o that the above results may serve as a basis for creating a new method of characterization of the structural parameters of the crazed membrane suppor ts and other highly disperse microporous systems.
