DLVO-theory, a dynamic re-interpretation

As a tribute to the celebration of DLVO theory we reconsider particle inter action from a dynamic point of view. Special attention is paid to identifyi ng various currents occurring between interacting colloids, with their time of relaxation estimated. The relation with electrokinetic phenomena is rec onsidered and the information obtained integrated into the stability phenom ena. Moreover, a dynamic interpretation of the slip process is offered.
