Factors affecting the outcome of ulcerative keratitis

This article reports on our examination of the prognostic significance of s pecific variables on the outcome of ulcerative keratitis in 124 consecutive corneal ulcers, Twelve factors were selected for statistical analysis and categorized into demographics history clinical signs, and clinical course. Outcome variables were tine to epithelial healing and final vision A multiv ariate statistical analysis was performed. Based on our results, this study shows that there is prognostic significance to certain clinical signs and historical information.
