Abstract
Using images of the Digitized Sky Survey we measured coodinates for 17298 g alaxies having poorly defined coordinates. As a control, we measured with t he same method 1522 galaxies having accurate coordinates. The comparison wi th our own measurements shows that the accuracy of the method is about 6 ar csec on each axis (RA and DEC).
