Abstract
In this note we give a description of the central units of an integral grou p ring ZZG for an arbitrary group G. We also give a set of generators of a subgroup of finite index in the centre of the unit group when G is any grou p whose FC-centre is finitely generated. Jespers, Parmenter and Sehgal did the same for finitely generated nilpotent groups.
