We discuss the coherent behavior of a highly polarized, nuclear or electron
, spin system for which the magnetic dipole radiation, emitted in the radio
frequency region, has a quadratic dependence on the number of spins. Phenom
enological theories are unable to completely predict many of the features o
f low temperature spin systems. Computer simulations provide a very effecti
ve and accurate method of describing such systems. Our investigation is bas
ed on a microscopic model, which makes it possible to accurately analyze th
e role of dipole interactions and inhomogeneous widening. The description o
f these systems requires the solution of a large number of coupled differen
tial equations. In solving the equations we apply different parallel comput
ing methods comparing their efficiency with traditional 'serial' schemes. (
