Abstract
14,20-Bis-epi-1 alpha,25-dihydroxy-19-norvitamin D-3 and side chain analogu es thereof have been synthesised via the 14,20-bis-epi-Inhoffen-Lythgoe dio l 9. The synthesis of this precursor was performed via degradation of vitam in D-2 and by total synthesis starting from Hajos-Wiechert ketone 24.
