Abstract
A method is described for the preconcentration of strontium on loaded and unloaded polyurethane foams. Parameters affecting the extraction o f metal ion, such as pH, reagent concentration and background medium h ave been investigated. The method can be applied to preconcentrate str ontium from aqueous samples.
