Abstract
Three established channel allocation schemes for cellular networks are comp ared using some commonly acceptable quality-of-service measures. These sche mes assign channels on an efficient and robust heuristic technique, derived from the well known family of evolutionary algorithms, called combinatoria l evolution strategy. Their performance is examined through a simulation us ing a realistic cellular network model.
