Abstract
An eight channel fiber-optic sensor has been developed to simultaneously me asure the strain and temperature independently using fiber Bragg gratings a nd stimulated Brillouin scattering, The temperature and strain resolution i s approximately 1.5 degrees C and 20 mu epsilon, and the spatial resolution for sensing Brillouin scattering is 5 m.
