Abstract
In previous papers, the authors introduced the wireless transmission of pow er and information (WTPI). This paper describes the most important issue fo r realizing the WTPI, which is how to ensure the reliable transmission by r educing the crosstalk from the power-to-data channel. Crosstalk analysis is made with the following steps after the review of the WTPI technology, 1) Magnetic flux distribution in the coaxial WTPI coupling is assumed. 2) An equivalent circuit is drawn by introduction of the crosstalk coeffici ent K-ct. 3) According to the equivalent circuit, the crosstalk ratio CR is calculate d, and the induced noise level is estimated. Thereafter, the following three possible countermeasures to reduce the cros stalk are proposed: 1) the appropriate magnetic core dimensioning for the c oupling; 2) the reduction of high-frequency harmonics in the power inverter output voltage; and 3) the magnetic shield. Lastly, the test results on th e concurrent transmission with the combination of these countermeasures are shown.
