Abstract
Integrated gasifier-molten carbonate fuel cell (IG-MCFC) offers a clean and
efficient route for power generation from coal. A molten carbonate fuel ce
ll (MCFC) was assembled and its performance was tested with simulated coal
gas. The output and the stability was found to be comparable to that with c
onventional feed gas. It was also observed that switching from one type of
feed gas to another had only a marginal effect on the cell performance. Cop
