Abstract
Using Fourier optic theory we have studied an optical device permitting the transformation of a high power laser beam into a quasihomogeneous square " spot," We have compared theoretical results generated with software that we have developed to experimental results obtained using the optical device, Comparison shows good agreement between the two approaches.
