Abstract
This investigation reports the isolation and characterization of three new illudane-type sesquiterpenes (1-3) from Omphalotus nidiformis, a Basidiomyc ete native to Australia and usually found in eucalypt forests in the easter n region of the country. These compounds are closely related to metabolites of North American and European Omphalotus species.
