Abstract
The specific conductivity of melts in the K2O-PbO-SiO2 system was meas ured as a function of temperature and composition within their glass f orming regions Because conductivity is very sensitive to composition c hanges it can be considered as an appropriate method for choosing a go od quality, stable glass. Leaching tests were also performed on the st udied glasses in order to establish the limiting conductivities of the melts.
