Abstract
Kinetics and mechanism for the electrodeposition of lithium from tetraethyl ene glycol dimethyl ether electrolytes formed from lithium perchlorate and ionophores have been studied using voltammetric and chronoamperometric meth ods at Pt and Au electrodes. The ionophore influence on stripping efficienc ies, nucleation overpotentials, exchange current densities was evaluated. T he type of nucleation and crystal growth process was determined.
