Abstract
The effect of the conditions of propylene polymerization in a liquid m onomer using a new homogeneous metallocene catalyst (2-PhInd)(2)ZrCl2 on the rate of polymerization, molecular mass, stereoisomer compositio n, and elastic properties of PP was studied. It was found that the pre pared polymer shows a stereoblock structure, has high molecular mass, and exhibits rubber-like properties. After an elongation of 300%, the residual strain is 31-68%.
