Compact RF module fits CDMA base stations

CELLULAR coverage increasingly requires the placement of compact base stati ons in areas with difficult shadowing and multipath effects. In what follow s, the design and simulation of a compact front-end circuit for code-divisi on-multiple-access (CDMA) base stations is presented, The design employs mo nolithic-microwave-integrated-circuit (MMIC) technology where practical and is web-modeled through the use of commercial personal-computer (PC) design software.
