Abstract
Neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) is known to be involved in the dopami nergic neurodegeneration that occurs in the MPTP model of Parkinson disease . Recent studies indicate that different isoforms of NOS may act synergisti cally to cause neuronal injury in Parkinson disease and other neurodegenera tive diseases (pages 1403-1409).
